This morning, we will set off for the picturesque Lake Balaton. It is an excellent vacation resort in Hungary largely due to its alluring blend of lakes and mountains. It is also one of the most favored tourist attractions among locals who lovingly call it “the Hungarian Sea”. After Balaton, we will cross the border and enter Croatia, more specifically, the capital Zagreb. Here you can see a city featuring the tradition of resisting invaders but still registering complete old buildings. This ancient city is characterized by beautiful Gothic buildings everywhere and its Mediterranean food, local wines as well as friendly Croats will leave you with a favorable impression. All these can offer you a rare and unique experience. Afterward, you can explore famous tourist attractions like Zagreb Cathedral, Croatian National Theatre, and the Column of the Virgin Mary, etc.
The Virgin Mary column with angels and fountain was built by Anton Dominique Fenkorn in 1865, and the fountain by Hermann Bolet in 1880-1882. This monumental column in front of Zagreb Cathedral is a unique symbol of the Kaptol region.

The theatre grew out of the first city theatre which opened in 1834 and was located in what is now the Old Town Hall. The theatre was originally founded in 1860 as the Croatian National Theatre and received government support in 1861, placing it on the same level as many other European national theatres. At the entrance to the theatre there is a wall fountain sculpture of the Well of Life, designed in 1905 by the Croatian artist and sculptor Ivan Meshtrović. The theater has also seen many international artists, including Franz Liszt, Sarah Bernhardt and others. Currently, the Croatian National Theatre combines performance venues for theatre, opera and ballet. On October 14, 1995, the theater celebrated its 100th anniversary.

Lake Balaton in Hungary is the largest lake in Central Europe. While not as turbulent as the ocean, on sunny days, the rippling blue waves, dotted with white sails, and circling seagulls create a captivating coastal landscape. The lake's climate can be just as unpredictable as the ocean itself. The lake region, with its captivating scenery, has become a world-renowned Hungarian tourist destination.

Zagreb Cathedral is a Catholic church in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Zagreb Cathedral is the centre of the Catholic Church in Croatia. Zagreb Cathedral is the most famous building in Croatia. The towers on the left and right sides of the entrance are 105 meters high, making it the tallest building in Croatia. The church was built in 1094, destroyed in 1242 during the Tatar invasion, and rebuilt in Gothic style at the end of the 13th century. After the Ottoman army retreated in the 17th century, construction of towers began again and the architectural style was changed to Baroque. The Zagreb earthquake of 1880 severely damaged both Zagreb and the church, after which the church was rebuilt in the Gothic Revival style.

The Museum of Broken Relationships is located in Zagreb, Croatia. The museum displays tokens of love given to each other by lovers from all over the world, including books, baseball caps, teddy bears, etc. Each souvenir comes with a story about it and its original owner. In addition to lovers, there are also some items given by deceased parents to their children. There is a cafe in the museum with a quiet environment, which is a good place to relax.

In the morning, we will go to Plitvice Lakes National Park, often referred to as the Jiuzhaigou of Europe. This world heritage is composed of sixteen terraced lakes connecting with each other along mountain trails. Hidden within lush, forested hills, layers and layers of travertine barriers form natural dams, creating a fairytale-like landscape of turquoise lakes. The water there has special hues as submerged trees are coated with calcium-rich deposits which turn into bronze-like substances. All this creates an extraordinary underwater spectacle. With verdant meadows, rushing streams and waterfalls, and clear lakes surrounded, this place indeed feels like a paradise on earth. You can stroll along the park’s walkways which will offer a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life when you are accompanied by the gentle sound of flowing water and falling cascades. After the park, we will depart for Zadar.
Plitvice Lakes National Park requires pre-booking of tickets online at https://ticketing.np-plitvicka-jezera.hr/?_gl=1*1ihr3l8*_gcl_au*MTIzNDIxODQ3LjE3NDU4MjE5MzI. It is recommended to visit between 11:00AM and 12:00 AM.Please choose “Entrance 1”.

With its exceptional natural beauty, this area has always attracted nature lovers, and already on 8 April 1949, it was proclaimed Croatia’s first national park. The process of tufa formation, which results in the building of the tufa, or travertine, barriers and resulted in the creation of the lakes, is the outstanding universal value, for which the Plitvice Lakes were internationally recognised on 26 October 1979 with their inscription onto the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Zadar or a nearby city
Spend the first part of the day exploring the deeply spiritual city of Zadar. This ancient city still retains narrow cobbled streets and historic buildings with a lot of medieval charm that could transport you back to ancient times. However, you can find two modern installations favored by most travelers: the Sea Organ, which plays music with the movement of the waves, and the Greeting to the Sun, a solar-powered light display that can show different regions of the world. Visit to Split, Croatia’s second-largest city, full of remnants of the Roman Empire. The majestic Diocletian’s Palace once was a lavish retreat for Roman emperors and now is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is estimated that the city boasts more than 1,700 years of history. For the rest time, we will head to Dubrovnik. Maybe you are not familiar with this name, but you must know King’s Landing. Yes, this thousand-year-old city became a hot travel destination for being the King’s Landing in Game of Thrones.
Please note: Due to the high cost of accommodation in Zadar, Dubrovnik, and Neum (brown line), an additional surcharge of €25 per person per night will be required at the time of booking.
Diocletian's Palace is a Roman palace built between 295 AD and 305 AD, covering an area of nearly 4 hectares. Augustus Diocletian of the Eastern Roman Empire lived here after his abdication. It is located in Split, Croatia, and is a magnificent seaside fortress and luxurious giant country villa. The palace is rectangular in plan, with two 11-meter-wide arcades in the center. The front part of the palace is the bedroom, with views of the sea and the Dalmatian coast. The rear part is the court. The palace was severely damaged during the invasion of the Avars. After the Avars retreated in 639, the palace ruins were converted to other uses by refugees from the city of Salona. In 1979, the site was listed as a World Cultural Heritage.

Architect Nikola Bašić was inspired by the sound of waves hitting rocks at the beach when he was a child, and designed Zadar's seafront into a giant sea organ. The design uses waves and 35 pipes of varying lengths and thicknesses hidden under the stone steps. When the waves push and air rushes into the pipes, a resonant sound like a thick organ is emitted. Due to the different sizes and speeds of the waves and the different calibers and lengths of the pipes, an ever-changing, melodious and undulating tone is produced. The installation, completed in 2005, won the European Urban Public Space Award the following year.

Greeting to the Sun is a solar installation located at the western tip of Zadar Peninsula, Croatia, at the entrance to the port, next to the Sea Organ. Designed by Nikola Basic, it is a circular structure with a diameter of 22 meters, consisting of three hundred multi-layered glass panels, with photovoltaic solar panels underneath. The lighting elements installed in the disc are turned on at night, emitting colorful light. It symbolizes communication with nature, interaction with light, while the nearby Sea Organ represents communication with sound. Greeting to the Sun can display the corresponding feast days of the saints of the church on the Zadar Peninsula according to the altitude of the sun on different dates, making it like a calendar. Marine scientists participated in the collaboration. These solar panels absorb light energy and convert it into electricity. In addition to the installation itself, it can also supply half of the total energy required for lighting on the Zadar seaside.

In the morning, we continue our trip to Dubrovnik. Nobel Literature Prize laureate George Bernard Shaw once described this place as “If you want to see heaven on Earth, come to Dubrovnik”. This is never an exaggeration. Dubrovnik is truly the kind of city that captures peoples’ hearts at first sight. Once an affluent trade hub of both land and maritime business rivaling Venice, this city was exposed to warfare during the Yugoslav era. Nevertheless, thanks to the supervision and reconstruction from UNESCO and the European Union, it now thrives as one of the European most hot tourist attractions. When you step into this filming location as King’s Landing of Game of Thrones, you will feel like being in a reality-like dream. Meet those attractions including the old town, ancient city walls, defense towers, the Rector’s Palace, and the Franciscan Monastery. Afterward, I recommend taking the cable car up to the mountain and reaching all the stunning scenery of this Adriatic pearl before you. At last, we will make our way to Neum.
Please note: Due to the high cost of accommodation in Zadar, Dubrovnik, and Neum (brown line), an additional surcharge of €25 per person per night will be required at the time of booking.
Venice, a city built on water, is itself a work of art on the water; the beauty of every building here is inseparable from water. Being in Venice is like standing on a stage where a performance is taking place. The classical music played by musicians on the street is like the background music, and the diverse people coming and going are like the actors, and you happen to be there when this Venetian drama unfolds.

Dubrovnik is a city with relatively well-preserved medieval architecture in Europe. It is known as the "city museum" and was listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1979. There are many historical sites here, and the buildings are in Roman, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. At the same time, the islands here are scattered, the forests are lush, the sea water is clear, the sunshine is abundant, and the coastal scenery is charming. It is a tourist attraction. George Bernard Shaw once said, "If you want to see what heaven looks like, then go to Dubrovnik!"

The ancient city wall is a defensive stone wall surrounding the old city. It is 1,940 meters long and 25 meters high at the sea. It is the largest and most complete complex structure of the city wall in Europe. It has stood in southern Croatia since the 7th century and is considered one of the greatest defense systems in the Middle Ages. It has never been destroyed by the enemy. In 1979, the Old Town of Dubrovnik and a large part of the city wall were listed as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.

The Governor's Palace is known as the most beautiful building on the Croatian coast. The building itself combines Gothic and Renaissance styles. From the 14th to the 19th century, the Governor's Palace was the office of the Governor of the Republic of Ragusa.

It is a religious building located in the Croatian city of Dubrovnik, including a monastery, a church, a library and a pharmacy. The pharmacy in the monastery is the third oldest pharmacy still in operation in the world.

Our major schedule for today is to cross the border and visit the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It’s one of the six socialist republics of the former Yugoslavia. The Pocitelj, built in the Middle Ages, now is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later we will travel to the sacred site of Medjugorje. In 1981, someone claimed to have witnessed the Virgin Mary at Medjugorje. While the Vatican has not yet officially confirmed the authenticity, there are still many people making a pilgrimage here. Nowadays, Medjugorje has already become an important pilgrimage destination for Catholics, actually, the third most-visited Marian apparition site in Europe, with more than one million pilgrims annually. After the saint place, we move to Blagaj, the hidden gem, where a Dervish Monastery (Tekija) was built into a cliffside beside clear spring waters. Trust me, this secluded place is indeed stunning. Then we continue to the historic town of Mostar. You can walk through the iconic Stari Most, which is a majestic arched bridge registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Standing on it, you can have the perfect view of riverbanks and the whole town. For the night, we drive on to Sarajevo.
Besides, please note that due to border regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of group members entering and exiting must remain consistent. As a result, leaving the group during this part is not allowed.
It is about 25 kilometers from Mostar and close to the Croatian border. Međugorje, together with the villages of Biaković, Vionica, Miletina and Śurmantsi, forms a Catholic parish with about 5,000 residents. As the city where the Virgin Mary apparitions took place, Mettigorye is considered one of the most important Marian shrines in the world.

Because of its religious diversity, Sarajevo is known as the "Jerusalem of Europe". Until the late 20th century, Sarajevo was the only city in Europe where mosques, Catholic churches, Orthodox churches and synagogues could coexist. It is well-known in China because of the movie "Walter Defends Sarajevo" and the Yugoslav War.

This is the "Stone City" Pochitli described by Nobel Prize winner in Literature Ivo Andrić. Looking down from the air, Pochitli is like a natural amphitheater. The stone houses, mosques, fortresses and other buildings built on the mountainside form the unique and beautiful appearance of this ancient city. In 1383, the Bosnian King Tvrtko I built a fortress here, which marked the beginning of the 600-year history of changes in this fortress. In the 15th century, when the Hungarians reinforced the city walls, the defenders and craftsmen had built dense residential areas under the fortress; in the 16th century, the Ottomans not only added mosques and madrassas, but also developed a complete market with public baths and caravanserai inns; in the 18th century, the threat from the Venetians prompted the Ottoman rulers to continuously upgrade the fortifications. During the Austro-Hungarian period, Pochitli lost its military value and was largely abandoned. In the 1960s, the dilapidated Stone Town became an artist center, and during the Tito era, it attracted creators from all over the Balkans to seek inspiration. During the Bosnian Civil War in 1996, it was severely damaged and was listed as one of the world's top 100 endangered heritage sites by the World Monuments Watch. The permanent protection plan launched in 2000 continues to this day, bringing new life to this stone city that has witnessed six hundred years of the collision of civilizations. In 2007, it was included in the World Cultural Heritage Tentative List, continuing its transformation from a military fortress to a common heritage of mankind.

Located in the center of Mostar, it was once described as "a rainbow welcoming the Milky Way" and is one of the famous attractions in the entire Balkan Peninsula. The style of the ancient stone bridge is in harmony with the surrounding buildings made of ancient stones and the ancient streets paved with round cobblestones, fully demonstrating the quaint customs and artistic style of Bosnia in the 16th century. In 2005, the bridge and the surrounding area were listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Sarajevo or a nearby city
In the morning, we pay a visit to Sarajevo. This city is reborn from warfare. It was a vital connection between East and West. Therefore, it is tolerant of different religions and cultures, boasting a unique style in European countries. Lonely Planet put it as one of the world’s top ten must-visit cities. This place has witnessed so many historical events, like the infamous Latin Bridge event, the ignition of the First World War, and the line where East meets West which is still preserved in this old city. This is all the historical part while you can see the rebirth of this city through its modern architecture in the newly built town. In the afternoon, we will depart Sarajevo and go to the Serbian border. We will arrive in Belgrade by dusk.
Besides, please note that due to border regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the number of group members entering and exiting must remain consistent. As a result, leaving the group during this part is not allowed.
The Sarajevo Tunnel was a tunnel built between 1992 and 1995 during the Siege of Sarajevo in the Bosnian War. The tunnel was built by the Bosnian Army to connect the city of Sarajevo with the Sarajevo Airport. The tunnel not only provided food, military supplies and humanitarian aid to Sarajevo, but also became an important way to bypass the arms embargo and provide weapons to the defenders. Many people fled Sarajevo through this tunnel.

Belgrade or a nearby city
Our Complimentary Offer will be today: a one-hour Citywalk in Belgrade, accompanied by a local Chinese-speaking tour guide.
In the morning, we will first explore Belgrade. It is known as the Key to the Balkans because it lies at the heart of the Balkan Peninsula and once was the capital of the former Yugoslav Federation. Today it is proud of its Belgrade Fortress and Kalemegdan Park, which were important medieval strongholds. You can easily find the architectural traces of the Roman and Austro-Hungarian eras. You can also visit other iconic landmarks at the same time such as St. Sava Temple, the House of Flowers, St. Mark’s Church, and the National Assembly of Serbia. In 1999, with the outbreak of the Kosovo War, this country witnessed the tragedy of the Chinese Embassy in the former Yugoslavia being bombarded. A small memorial at the site was built to commemorate this event. People here are hospitable and friendly. It also has been recognized as one of the European new hot travel destinations. In the afternoon, we will drive straight to Budapest, Hungary.
Citywalk reminder: As this activity is physically demanding, we advise you to wear comfortable sneakers and baggy garments; if it is disrupted by force majeure (such as bad weather, traffic restriction, or strike), we will have the right to temporarily cancel this activity and all tourist attractions are not available for the tourists.
The Parliament Building, standing on the banks of the Danube River, is a landmark of Hungary. It blends Hungarian national style with Neo-Gothic architecture. The main halls of the Parliament Building are decorated with portraits and sculptures of prominent figures in Hungarian history, as well as large murals.

The office of the Serbian Parliament was built in 1936. It is one of the landmarks of Belgrade and one of the most imposing buildings in Belgrade. This gorgeous Baroque-style building looks majestic and magnificent, and from a secular perspective, it highlights the glory of Yugoslavia, a great European country at that time.

The Belgrade Fortress is located in the city of Belgrade, Serbia, and consists of the Old Castle (Upper Town and Lower Town) and Kalemegdan Park. The fortress is located in the city of Belgrade and is a specific historical core of the city. As one of the most important representatives of Belgrade’s heritage, it has been protected since the war and is the first officially declared cultural monument in Serbia. The site was declared a cultural monument of special importance in 1979 and is under the protection of the Republic of Serbia. It is the second residence of Belgrade's most visited tourist attraction, Skadarlija Park.

The Church of St. Mark is a Serbian Orthodox church located in the Tašmajdan park in Belgrade. It was built in the Serbo-Byzantine style by the Krstić brothers and was completed in 1940. It was completed on the site of a previous church dating back to 1835. Today, it is one of the largest churches in the country.

The Temple of Saint Sava is a Serbian Orthodox church which sits on the Vračar plateau in Belgrade, Serbia. It is the largest Orthodox church in Serbia and one of the largest Eastern Orthodox churches. The Temple of Saint Sava ranks among the largest churches in the world. It is the most recognizable building in Belgrade and a national landmark.

Also known as the Flower House, it is the cemetery of Tito, a famous leader of the Yugoslav Federation. Since Tito loved to grow flowers during his lifetime, his body was buried in the flower house after his death. Under Tito's leadership, Yugoslavia was in a golden age. To this day, people go to Tito's tomb to offer their own flowers to express their remembrance of Tito.

Special Reminders
1. The tour will proceed with a minimum of one participant. Please thoroughly review all relevant precautions before booking. Based on a full understanding of the hardship of a journey and the limited medical conditions during the trip, guests can sign up for this tour determining that their physical conditions are suitable to participate.
2. This is an open-loop journey, and it is possible that the guests, guides, and drivers on your team may also change during the trip. If you choose the room-sharing service, your roommate may also change along the journey. Our company will arrange a same-sex roommate by default. Note: Although roommates are arranged by our company, their personalities and behaviors are their own responsibility and have nothing to do with our company. In the event of any differences in habits or disputes, our company and guides will not be responsible for mediating or intervening.
3. The bus type will change according to the number of participants. If the number is extremely small, we may arrange public transportation or a minibus driven by the guide for certain stages of the journey. For safety reasons, the European Transportation Department mandates that each child, regardless of his or her age, must occupy a seat. Since most buses are not equipped with child safety seats, parents traveling with children under 3 are suggested to bring their own. A child safety seat can only occupy one seat, and we cannot guarantee that all personal child safety seats will be compatible with the tour buses. Please take note of this.
4. Traveling in Europe differs from traveling in other countries around the world. Most tourist attractions are not accessible by tour buses and require visitors to walk around for sightseeing. If a guest has limited mobility to join the group in walking activities, he or she may have to wait in the vehicle at certain sites, and no refunds will be issued for such circumstances; acceptance of this term is assumed when the registration is made.
5.Due to the limited luggage storage space in the buses, each guest can bring a single luggage of up to 30kg.
6.We reserve the right to fine tune the detailed schedule on the itinerary. In some exceptional circumstances (including mechanical issues, traffic delays, adverse weather conditions, strikes, sporting or religious events, protests, or other complicated situation), we also reserve the right to adjust the tourist attractions in the original itinerary or the order of the tour.
7. If guests fail to appear at the designated times or locations( at the beginning of the tour or during the tour), any resulting issues, missed services and economic losses should be borne by the guests themselves.
8. All guests including adults and children must wear safety belts while the bus is in motion. To keep the bus clean, no drinks, food, or alcohol will be allowed on the bus. Please don’t leave your valuables on the bus even when the bus is locked, for our company bears no liabilities for the loss or theft of any item or luggage left in the bus.
9.Guests voluntarily participating in hazardous activities (including rock climbing, mountaineering, rafting, diving, bungee jumping, etc.) are assumed to bear all responsibilities of property damage, personal injury or other disputes therefrom. Our company shall not be liable.
10. Guests with poor health conditions should ask for doctors’ medical suggestions on participating in this tour and prepare for necessary medications and first-aid supplies according to their conditions. Our company bears no liability for any results caused by their pre-existing diseases. Our company also reserves the right to terminate the contract if a guest has contagious diseases endangering others, carries hazardous items and refuses to hand them over to relevant authorities, engages in illegal or immoral activities, engages in activities that seriously infringe upon the rights of other guests or violates any other stipulated laws.
11. Given that some bus types might not be able to transport a wheelchair, we are sorry that we cannot accept bookings from wheelchair users. Kindly note this restriction when booking.
12. If there is any medical emergency, guests notify the staff immediately, and our company will assist in sending the guest to the closest local medical institution for examination and treatment. Guests with hearing or visual impairments must be accompanied by a healthy travel companion to join the tour. Individuals with mental illnesses or without the ability to control their own behaviors cannot sign up for the tour.
13. If guests have any subsequent travel plan that requires a transfer for other transportation when the group tour ends, we strongly suggest a buffer time of at least 3 hours to avoid unpredictable postponement brought about by the group tour. Our company will be liable for any losses incurred by insufficient buffer time. If guests choose to depart on their own, return, or leave the tour in any circumstance or for personal reasons, our company will not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or expenses incurred due to the delay of transportation or other reasons that prevent them from joining the scheduled itinerary or accommodation.
14. As some guests might be allergic to pets and some hotels do not allow pets on the premises, participants are not allowed to bring pets on the tour. Please make alternative care arrangements for your pets in advance. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
